We can now officially confirm that U3A Southern Highlands Inc. will present another BIG BUSKERS BASH This extraordinary group of amazingly talented performers will demontrate their musical skills and achievements at the Bowral Uniting Church Hall on Monday, 22nd November, 2010 at 10.30 a.m. Music from the stage, film and folk traditions; Classical, Renaissance and Baroque; stirring marches and soulful melodies—all presented in the unique style of U3A ‘s own “Highlands Buskers”. BE THERE!!! *** Tulip Time Parade. Saturday, 25th September, 2010: 3 p.m. start. This year the Southern Highlands is celebrating 50 years of Tulip Time—the Golden Anniversary. As we in U3A are also celebrating our “golden years”, we have been invited to help celebrate this occasion by marching in the Tulip Time street parade with other community groups. We plan to walk down the main street of Bowral behind our U3A banner, smiling and waving at the crowd.
